Home
I'm in Virginia now. I was having a rough time in Chattanooga, and the whole insomnia thing was making everything exponentially more difficult for me to deal with stuff, so I ran away. My first night home, I slept amazingly. I've stayed pretty busy subbing for my home church's preschool. I knew I wanted something to keep me busy and whoa 4 and 5 year olds definitely do the trick! I got to sub the two days in Noah's class which was so much fun. He didn't like having his Aunt Molly there the whole time because he says I always get him in trouble. haha. I loved it though. 5 year olds are hilarious! I'm also getting to see my friends, and am loving the time I've spent with so many people.
Sometimes you just need to go home.
I'm grateful that my parents are always here when I need to come home, and that only ask a few questions of "Why?" when I show up on their doorstep.
I'm grateful that I have an amazing group of friends and church family that fill my love tank whenever I'm in town.
I'm grateful for my Chattanooga friends who text me everyday to tell me they miss me and that they're praying my trip home is refreshing... unfortunately some of them witnessed my almost-nervous breakdown.
Coming home was a good idea.
I'm staying here for another week or so. Probably 2 Sundays. I'll head back to Chattanooga next Sunday after church. This weekend I get to go wedding dress shopping with my older sister. We're celebrating my mom's birthday and I'm excited to see my sisters and my brother in laws.. And I might get to lead worship with Becca on Sunday night, which is always fun. There are really only 2 worship leaders I feel super comfortable singing with... Becca has taught me a lot over the years, and so I always love singing with her. We have fun.
We're on baby watch for my sweet friend Melissa... I'm so hoping her little guy is born while I'm home!
I'm helping Kristi write stuff for her upcoming D-Now... I discipled her when I was in college... and I'm just so proud of what she's doing in student ministry.
Spending lots of time with great friends.
It's going to be a great rest of my trip, and I'll head back to Chattanooga ready to deal with whatever is next.
I'm already feeling better about things.
Sleep can do wonders for your perspective.
